Genevieve Méthode Cap Classique, mollycoddled and nurtured Chardonnay vines have created a wonderful base to produce this traditional Cap Classique with the poise of passion and respect. Extensive time on lees has encapsulated a refined ambience, allowing for luscious and balanced complexity while savouring the fine mousse.

Klein Botrivier Farm Cottages are located 8 km from Bot River. Take a walk, settle down and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the views. Bot River is a little universe on its own, so get ready to explore - from wine tastings to mountain biking to horse trails and within close proximity to the seaside towns of Hermanus and Kleinmond and neighbouring wine areas of Elgin and Hemel-en-Aarde.

The search for the perfect terroir and quality grapes led Melissa to Bot River, and there she discovered a beautiful pocket of Chardonnay, located in the Van der Stel Pass.

Determined from the outset to make a sparkling wine of unsurpassed quality, and to continue to do so each year, Melissa’s original vision soon became a well-received reality.
