Book your tickets for this prestigious event , and sip and sample celebrated wineries that have consistently achieved the highest accolades in all the top competitive platforms shown by the winemakers on the evening, Genevieve MCC will be there with the new vintage 2012!
Time: 17h00 until 21h00. Arrive anytime ( latest 19h30 ), and get your programme and crystal tasting glass at the entrance.
Venue: The Table Bay Hotel, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

Bot River hosts blooming nice Spring Weekend with a new vintage for Genevieve MCC !

Winter has kept us hidden but we are preparing to pop some corks soon to celebrate the Bot River Spring Weekend 3rd – 4th September 2016.
Genevieve MCC will be showing off our new 2012 vintage and also releasing a Zero Dosage.. very exciting! Our venue for this year is the lovely Luddite Wine Estate.
We’ll be serving an overflow of oysters to pair with the bubblies.
Luddite will be releasing their new vintage of Saboteur range.
plus sooooo much more!
Most of the Bot River farms will be open on the weekend , this is a great opportunity to visit and take part in our farm delights and make a weekend of it.

Barrels and Beards Harvest Celebration: 15-16 April 2016
Barrels and Beards Harvest Celebration is one of my favourite events of the year. After harvest all us Bot River winemakers just want to get together and celebrate and we enjoy it even more when others are keen to join in too!

Friday night warm-up at Honingklip
The winemakers of Bot River love nothing more than an ice cold craft beer on a Friday arve and after harvest it even more welcome, so join them for a relaxed kuier at our local Bot River brewery -Honingklip from 18h00 – tickets are R180 and include beer and pork sausages.
Saturday morning Tasting with Roland Peens
The unique ‘Best of Bot River Tasting’ at Goedvertrouw Wine Estate – owned and run by Elreda Pillman – on the Saturday morning is aimed at the more serious winos and cellar buffs. During the first part of the tasting, guests will have a chance to taste the best of the 2015 vintage hailing from Bot River. After that, Roland Peens will present a blind tasting of the finest wines from Bot River against international counterparts. Tickets : R350 tasting & lunch
Saturday evening – The Baard Paartie
At the main event at Barton Vineyards on Saturday evening, guests will be able to taste the young wines from the 2016 vintage, straight from the barrel, whilst comparing them to older vintages of the same wine. This will be followed by a delicious, proudly Botriviera dinner and of course, the long-awaited Beard competition. Wines will be on sale on the evening. Tickets: R450 tasting and dinner and so much fun!

Chardonnay fans; join Genevieve MCC at the New School Grand Cru Festival in Franschhoek!
Chardonnay fans, make a big note to save the date: Saturday 3rd October! This is the second year Môreson Wine Farm hosts this exceptional day celebrating Chardonnay.
Over twenty vineyards in South Africa will be presenting their selection of finest quality Chardonnay ( yes only Chardonnay). It will be a day filled with spectacular wines yummy food – the Bread and Wine Vineyard Restaurant will be open for lunch; and they’ll have their famous charcuterie for sale at the festival.
NB info: Tickets cost R150 and include a glass and access to some of South Africa’s finest Chardonnays.
